The Borderland and the Order of the Teaspoon

The preparation for the recent exhibition in the White Synagogue

The Borderland has the privilege to have been introduced to the honorary Order of the Teaspoon. However Harry Potteresque it sounds, it is a fact -- read on below.

Before explaining the crucial details, it is important to refer to a recent event which was the opening of the new exhibition in the White Synagogue. It is called the Landscape of our Memory and to find out more about it see here.

In the blog which is written by the Landscape' s authors, Gabriela Bulisova and Mark Isaac, we can find some of their thoughts and comments about the experience of staying in Sejny and Krasnogruda:

it was not until recently, long after our Fulbright grant ended, that we witnessed the Foundation in action and understood the extensive impact of their work.

It seems that the Borderland has had new friends and we most sincerely hope to work together with Gabriela and Mark in future. It is uplifting and generous of them to read:

it is our ardent hope that this is just the beginning of a lasting friendship and collaboration.

The complete piece from the blog entry devoted to the exhibition at the White Synagogue, the Borderland and about the mysterious, unbelievable and Potteresque Teaspoon Order (there is an Order like that indeed!) can be read here.
