The visit consisted of several walks and workshops whose purpose was to introduce the group with the practices of the Borderland.
One of the points in the timetable was a talk with Małgorzata Sporek-Czyżewska which concerned translating Miłosz from Polish into Ukrainian. The group had an opportunity to compare different Ukrainian translations of Miłosz and to discuss why and in which aspects Miłosz still matters as a writer.
Another important talk was with Krzysztof Czyżewski and Iryna Mularchuk and concerned the Facing the War series of contemporary Ukrainian poetry edited and published by the Borderland.
One of the students summed up the stay in the following way: ‘’it is such a joy to wake up and hear the birds singing instead of the generators of electricity”
