At 4th anniversary of Czeslaw Milosz death we would like to invite you to Krasnogruda for a meeting with music, theatre and reminescences. The meeting will take place on 14th of August 2008 in Krasnogruda
Program:
17.00: Mass for Czeslaw Milosz at Zegary church.
18.30: Meeting at the manor house in Krasnogruda; accompanied with poems of Czeslaw Milosz and reminiscences of people who knew him: Irena Jun, Barbara Toruńczyk, Piotr Dapkiewicz, Andrzej Franaszek, Anatol Roitman, Andrzej Strumiłło and Henryk Woźniakowski. Visiting the exibition about connections of Krasnogruda and Milosz, as well as memory about the manor house in the villages around it.
20.00: "Dinner on the grass" by the Krasnogruda route.
21.30: Issa Valley according to Czeslaw Milosz performance.
Remembering Miłosz: A Meeting on the 4th anniversary of Poet's death Krasnogruda, 14th August 2008

The meeting started with the holy mass in the memory of Czesław Miłosz in a small church in Żagary. There was also the recitation of His poetry, recollections about Him, music and singing in manor-house in Krasnogruda. Young Lithuanians and Poles from Sejny and area shared with the others the stories about past inhabitants of the manor-house.
